Anna Eleanor Roosevelt (known as Anne) is the President and CEO of Goodwill Industries of Northern New England, a non-profit social enterprise serving Maine, New Hampshire and northern Vermont. Goodwill operates retail stores, health care and cleaning services that help fund innovative workforce programs that empower individuals and families to find stability through work.
Anne joined Goodwill in 2011 from The Boeing Company in Chicago, where she had held the position of Vice President, Global Corporate Citizenship. Anne’s career has encompassed leadership positions in philanthropy, public policy, politics, the arts and higher education.
Currently, Anne chairs The Roosevelt Institute in New York. In 2013, Anne was presented with the Queen’s Commissioners Medal of Merit of The Province of Zeeland in the Netherlands, in recognition of her work carrying forward the legacy and values of her grandparents through the annual joint presentation of the Four Freedoms Awards. Anne serves on the Board of the Maine Community Foundation; she is a Fellow at the Center for Corporate Citizenship at Boston College.
Anne holds a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University, and a Master of Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
